CENTRAL CITY, KY., Charlene Parker Boyd, 57, of Central City passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born February 17, 1963. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church serving as an event planner, and dedicated choir member. She was employed by Purdue Farms and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Edward Boyd.

Survivors include 3 sons Jonathan (Janna) Boyd of Centertown, Jeremy ( Ashley) Boyd of Owensboro, and Cody (Hailey) Boyd of South Carrollton, 1 daughter Courtney Boyd of Central City, 4 grandchildren, 1 brother Darrell (Vickie) Johnson of Lima, Ohio, 2 sisters Ramona (J.R.) Parker Elrod of Greenville, and Jackie Bard of Central City, 1 uncle Charles (Loretta ) Allen of Paducah, 1 aunt Thelma Cain of Central City, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be private viewing and burial only.
