GREENVILLE, KY., Craig Schmidt, 63, of Greenville passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY. He was born on April 2, 1960 in Chicago, IL. He previously attended Sharon Baptist Church in Greenville and he worked for the Tru-Kut Machine in Bremen for approximately 19 years and Metal Works 360 Inc. in Greenville for approximately 14 years as a machinist.

He served his Country proudly in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Walter Schmidt.

Survivors include 3 sons Brandon Schmidt, Eric Schmidt and Dan Gust all of Powderly, 1 daughter Theresa Slaughter of Greenville, 4 grandchildren, his mother Carol Schmidt Theodosis of Greenville, 2 brothers Don Schmidt of Washington State and Chris Theodosis of Cookeville, TN., 1 sister Debra Starr of Greenville, mother of his children Noreen T. Schmidt of Powderly, a special close friend John Snipes of Greenville, nieces, nephews, many cousins and close friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 1 PM at the Bibbs Funeral Home Chapel 109 Court Row in Greenville, Kentucky.
