GREENVILLE, KY., Gerald Dean Wells III, 40, of Greenville passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 at his residence in White Plains, Kentucky. He was born February 26, 1983, in Greenville. He attended St. James A.M.E. Zion Church in Central City and was employed by Sonic in Greenville. He loved listening to music, was an avid fan of the North Carolina Tarheels, immersed himself in car electronics and graduated from Muhlenberg North High School.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joyce (Grango) Gordon, Willie Mae (Granny Mae) Ellis, Gerald Dean Wells, Sr. and Judy Wells.

He leaves to cherish his memory father Min. Paul Wells of Central City, Mother Cherie (Kevin) Murdock of Arlington, TX., 2 sons Grayson Howell of Bremen and Gabriel Dean Wells of Powderly, 1 daughter Sharaylynn Wells of Mansfield, Ohio, 5 brothers Xavier Wells of Central City, Kevin Murdock of Arlington, TX., Omarrion Wells of Central City, Orry Reese of Central City and Brian Jagoe of Browder, 5 sisters Morgan Wells of Central City, Sade ( Bilal) El-Amin of Lexington, Chelsea Murdock of Arlington, TX., Paige Wells of Hopkinsville, and Alleesha Reed of Hopkinsville, several aunts and uncles, special aunts Lisa Gott and Joyce Ann Summers both of Central City, several nieces and nephews, special nieces Izzy Wells of Central City and Anniston Wells of Beaver Dam, special nephews Brentton Wells of Arlington TX and Xion Wells of Central City, several cousins and friends.

Visitation 11AM to 1PM on Saturday with burial in West End Cemetery Greenville, KY. Pastor Otis L. Cunningham, Sr. Officiating, Pastor Donnie Thomas Eulogist.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 1PM at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church 411 N. 1st Street, Central City, KY.
