CENTRAL CITY, KY., John Wiley Agnew, Jr., 57, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the Baptist Health Madisonville Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. He was born September 2, 1965 in Nashville, TN. He was a member of the New Immanuel, ACOTLG Church in Central City and worked in the service industry as a culinary preparer. He loved different genres of music, his church family and spending time with his friends and family.

His parents John and Carrie Agnew, 2 sisters Debra Hastings and Jane Agnew all preceded him in death.

Survivors include 1 son Cedrick Owens, Nashville, TN., 2 grandchildren Cedrick Owens and Harlee Owens both of Nashville, TN., 3 sisters Barbara Tubbs of Old Hickory, TN., Carrie (Harry) Branch of Mt. Juliet, TN., and  Robbie (Arthur) Saulsberry of Central City, A devoted cousin Tamara Stephens of Old Hickory, TN., several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 10AM to 12Noon at the church.

Services will be Saturday from 12Noon on April 22, 2023 at New Immanuel, ACOTLG Church 211 N. 2ndStreet in Central City, KY. Burial will be in West End Cemetery in Greenville, KY. Bishop Jennifer Carney Officiating/ Eulogist.
