GREENVILLE, KY., — Larry Joe Hurt, 66, of Greenville departed this life Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his residence in Greenville, KY. He was born April 30, 1952 in Greenville to the late Phillip Hurt and Eva Hurt.

Also, 2 brothers James Hurt and Garland Hurt preceded him in death. He was a member of Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Greenville and was a retiree from TVA. He loved to fish, play softball, work on his truck and spend time with his granddaughter and family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories a loving daughter Larvitra Hurtt of Jonesboro, GA., 1 granddaughter LaSabrae Hurtt of Springfield, TN., 1 sister Eva Nell Cheatham of Central City, several nieces, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, distant relatives and friends.

Funeral Services are at 1pm Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, KY.

Visitation 12noon – 1pm at the church on Tuesday. Burial in West End Cemetery Greenville, KY with Rev. Terrence Minor Officiating.
