CORYDON, KY., — Robert Louis Dixon, age 87 of Corydon passed away at 11am Monday, October 2, 2017 at his home. Robert was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Corydon, Ky. He was employed at George S Carrington Company for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Dixon and Florence McClure-Dixon Armstead of Corydon, 13 siblings and 1 great-great grandson Devin Day.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years Pauline Smith-Dixon of Corydon, 10 children Terry Calbert (Helga) of Tacoma, WA, Donald Calbert (Noizetta) of Clarksville, TN, Beverly Chambers (Robert), Marqueta Wade, Mary Pruitt (Charles), Steve Dixon (Julie), Pamela Carter, Angela Robertson of Henderson, KY, Bobby Dixon, Rodney Dixon (Loretta) of Corydon, 14 Grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, 1pm at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Corydon, KY. Burial was in UBF Cemetery in Corydon. Elder Sammy Brooks, Pastor. Elder Jimmy Everhart, Eulogist.

Funeral service was directed by Bibbs Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
